"Female Gamers Dominate Switch Ownership in the US"
A recent survey by Circana (formerly NPD Group) has revealed that 47% of console gamers in the US are female, with 52% of those surveyed owning a Nintendo Switch. This highlights the success of Nintendo's Blue Ocean Strategy, which aimed to expand the player base and redefine market boundaries. The survey also showed that 41% of PS5s and 45% of Xbox Series consoles in the US are female-owned, while 50% of gaming PCs are owned by women.
