Fence-Post Bombs: Ukraine’s Drones Target Russian Dugouts
Forbes reports that Ukraine has developed crude, yet effective, bunker-busting drone munitions—nicknamed the fence post bomb—designed to penetrate bunkers and anti-drone nets with a delayed fuse, and delivered by Ukraine’s heavy multicopter bombers (including the Vampire). The design, reportedly built from modified hardware-store spikes, can pierce earth and structures before detonating, collapsing dugouts and disrupting Russian defenses with little warning.
