Capsized ferry off northern Cyprus leaves eight dead, dozens missing
A catamaran-style ferry carrying about 270 people capsized and sank off Kyrenia in Turkish-occupied northern Cyprus, with at least eight dead and dozens unaccounted for as roughly 237 passengers and crew were rescued; search-and-rescue teams, coastguard vessels, and helicopters are scouring the deep waters (about 514 metres) for survivors.
