"NBA Introduces Exciting In-Season Tournament Courts for All Teams"

The NBA has unveiled new court designs for its upcoming in-season tournament, with all 30 teams featuring primarily solid-color courts without visible woodgrain. The designs include the NBA Cup displayed at midcourt and in the lanes, a contrasting color runway down the center, and team names on the baseline. This marks the first time that certain teams, including Boston, Chicago, the Los Angeles Lakers, Portland, and New Orleans, will play on alternate home courts. The concept of tinkering with court designs is not new, as FIBA approved glass floors for top competitions last year.

"NBA Coaches and Players Call for Consistent Enforcement of Flopping Rules"

Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr has made a "personal plea" to the NBA to address flopping in the league, citing the FIBA's flop rule as an example. Kerr believes that the entire regular season is about gamesmanship and trying to fool the refs, and that the NBA should do better in terms of cleaning up the flopping. The Lakers have been accused of gamesmanship and flopping during their series against the Warriors, with Los Angeles going to the free-throw line more than twice as often as Golden State.
