Feisty Film Critic Rex Reed Dies at 87
Rex Reed, the flamboyant film critic and author whose sharp reviews and provocative Hollywood interviews helped shape entertainment journalism, died in Manhattan after a brief illness at age 87. A New York media fixture for decades, he wrote for the New York Daily News, the New York Post, and The New York Observer, acted in Myra Breckinridge, and authored eight books.
