Travis Knight Defends Masters of the Universe as a Labor of Love
Travis Knight says his Masters of the Universe movie is a labor of love grounded in his childhood passion for the 80s toy line, mini comics, and the Filmation cartoon. He kept the Earth sequence brief to serve the story, drew from multiple source materials, and brought in a mix of familiar and new talent (including Dolph Lundgren for a cameo, Idris Elba as Man-At-Arms, and Jared Leto as Skeletor).
