Police-mental health advocate named suspect in Worcester officer’s death
Authorities are searching for Karen Solomon, wife of Worcester police officer Kurt Solomon, after he was found dead at their home. Solomon, a longtime advocate for police mental health and co-founder of First H.E.L.P., is identified as a suspect and is being questioned as federal and local agencies assist the investigation. Police described the death as domestic violence, and Solomon has previously spoken publicly on officer welfare, including testifying at a DOJ hearing.
