
Peacock renews Garner-led Five Star Weekend for Season 2 after record viewership
Peacock has renewed The Five Star Weekend for a second season, four weeks after Season 1 dropped on July 9. The Jennifer Garner–led drama is touted as Peacock’s most-watched scripted original ever, with 2.1 billion minutes viewed (preliminary Nielsen data). The series, adapted from Elin Hilderbrand’s novel, follows Hollis Shaw as she hosts a Nantucket weekend with friends after a devastating loss, exposing cracks in her life. The cast includes D’Arcy Carden, Regina Hall, Chloë Sevigny, Gemma Chan, Harlow Jane, and Timothy Olyphant. No Season 2 release date has been announced.
