
SEC locks in 2026 kickoff windows with flex options
The SEC has released kickoff time windows for all 2026 conference-controlled football games: early (12:00–1:00 pm ET), afternoon (3:30–4:30 pm ET), and night (6:00–8:00 pm ET), with several flex games that could shift between afternoon and night. Notable set times include Texas at Tennessee on Sept. 26 (12:00 pm ET, ABC/ESPN) and Texas vs Oklahoma on Oct. 10 (3:30 pm ET, ABC/ESPN). The season kicks off Sept. 3 with Missouri hosting Arkansas-Pine Bluff on SEC Network. Sept. 5 features an ABC tripleheader: East Carolina at Alabama (noon), Baylor vs. Auburn (3:30), and Clemson at LSU (7:30). A full schedule will be announced at least six days prior to each game.
