Flightline Colt Breaks OBS 2-Year-Old Record at $10.5 Million

A Flightline colt consigned as Hip 1056 sold for $10.5 million at the OBS Spring 2-Year-Olds in Training Sale, bought by Donato Lanni for Zedan Racing Stables and breaking the sale’s record; the colt breezed a furlong in :09 3/5, is out of Lucrezia (Into Mischief), bred in Kentucky by Edward and Beverly Seltzer and W.S. Farish, and was previously purchased for $575,000 as a weanling, with the consignors noting he could be one of the greatest and that this price surpassed the prior OBS record for a juvenile.
