Ronaldo Demands Punishment for Portugal Walkout, Accuses Jesus of Broken Promises
Cristiano Ronaldo has issued a lengthy statement confirming he is not retiring from international football but demanding the Portuguese Football Federation punish him for walking out of the national team camp. He accused head coach Jorge Jesus of twice breaking his word, first by benching him against Norway after promising playtime, and second by failing to honor an agreed media statement. Ronaldo apologized for his actions but insisted the FPF must assess the consequences without leniency. He remains available for future matches, provided he is physically fit and serving any suspension. Portugal has won its recent matches without him, and the FPF has not yet responded to his demands.
