Hacked PlayStation 5 consoles have been able to run games like Bloodborne and The Last of Us Part II at over 100 FPS, thanks to developer-created patches. The games can achieve framerates of around 110 FPS and 85-105 FPS, respectively, with some tweaking. However, there is currently no way to force a 120 FPS output, and VRR is not available on firmware 4.03. The progress made by the hacking scene highlights the lack of official updates from developers to take advantage of the PlayStation 5's power, especially for PlayStation 4 exclusive games like Bloodborne.
