West Roxbury Hiker Found Dead in New Hampshire White Mountains
A missing West Roxbury hiker, 61-year-old Kent Wood, was found dead on the Kinsman Pond Trail in Franconia Notch, New Hampshire, after a weekend trip. Officials said he was prepared for warmer conditions, but spring weather in the White Mountains can change rapidly, and several other Massachusetts hikers were rescued in recent days as authorities warned of quickly changing conditions.
