Arizona Sorority Member Alleges Assault at Fraternity House Amid Campus Scrutiny
A University of Arizona sorority member alleges she was sexually assaulted by two men at the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity house in late August. Search warrant records reveal the victim reported waking up without clothing and experiencing difficulty swallowing, a potential sign of strangulation. The university had recently suspended all 21 fraternities for misconduct, though Sigma Phi Epsilon was placed on probation for hazing rather than suspended. National fraternity officials suspended the involved members pending investigation.
