Police raid Paris 2024 Olympics HQ in corruption investigation.
French financial police have raided the headquarters of the Paris 2024 Olympics and Solideo, the public body in charge of the Paris Olympics’ construction sites, as part of two preliminary investigations into suspicions of misappropriation of public funds and favoritism regarding several public contracts. The headquarters of several private companies who have been awarded public contracts were also searched. The Paris 2024 Olympics Committee is cooperating fully with the investigators to facilitate their investigations.
