Mercedes is bidding farewell to the V8 engine in the G Wagen with a new Final Edition, celebrating 30 years since the first V8 motor was fitted to the luxury off-roader. Limited to 1,500 units, the Final Edition retains the V8 engine, producing 421 HP, and comes in three colors. It features 20-inch AMG wheels, "Final Edition" emblems, and a Manufaktur full leather package. Priced at €196,350 in Europe, availability and pricing for the US are yet to be announced. Mercedes is also planning to introduce an electric G Wagen in the near future.
