CXMT's G5 DRAM Takes Mass Production Leap, Driving Next-Gen Memory Scaling
CXMT announced that its fifth‑generation DRAM platform, G5, has entered mass production, delivering 24Gb LPDDR5X memory with about a 50% density gain over the prior generation thanks to SAQP patterning and HKMG, plus a digital-twin development framework to shorten R&D cycles. The G5 design also targets better energy efficiency and cost control as AI-driven demand for memory chips rises, even as a small number of global players continue to dominate the market.
