Galaxy SmartTag 3 to sport squircle design but no built-in lanyard hole
Samsung’s Galaxy SmartTag 3 reportedly adopts a squircle shape (matching One UI icons and the Galaxy Watch 9), adds a central button, but omits a built-in lanyard hole. It’s expected to include Bluetooth and UWB, IP-rated dust/water resistance, and Samsung Find integration, with button presses locating a connected phone and double-press automations via Modes & Routines. A Bluetooth 6.0 upgrade and longer battery life are possible, with a launch possibly before year-end alongside the Galaxy S26 FE and Tab S12 series.
