Savannah Guthrie Drops Rare Hint About Nancy’s Heritage Ahead of Ireland Broadcasts
Savannah Guthrie referenced her mother Nancy Guthrie’s Irish roots on the Today show as she and her cohosts prep for live Ireland episodes, noting that Nancy’s family was Irish and from Galway. The appearance comes seven months into Nancy’s disappearance in Arizona, with investigators still active, Nancy’s family offering a $1 million reward, and Guthrie publicly urging her mother’s captors to reveal Nancy’s whereabouts. Guthrie has previously suggested Nancy may have passed, though a source denies this was a death acknowledgment; the case remains unresolved, with DNA and surveillance evidence cited in the ongoing investigation.
