Jagex Partners with Lyrical Animation and MoistCr1TiKaL for New RuneScape Series
Jagex and Lyrical Animation have announced a new animated series based on the RuneScape franchise, developed in partnership with streamer Charlie 'MoistCr1TiKaL' White. The project was revealed at RuneFest 2026 in Birmingham, marking Jagex's first major expansion into non-gaming media for the 25-year-old MMORPG. While early details are sparse, the collaboration aims to translate the game's world of Gielinor to screen for both existing fans and new audiences. This announcement coincides with the reveal of RuneScape 4, a new Unreal Engine MMO, signaling a broader strategic shift for the franchise beyond traditional gameplay.
