Browns tweak Garrett contract to boost cap flexibility
The Browns and Myles Garrett agreed to modified contract language that shifts $8 million of his 2029-30 base salary into roster bonuses and moves option-year deadlines to seven days before each season, giving Cleveland more cap flexibility; Garrett, a two-time Defensive Player of the Year and last season’s sack leader with 23 sacks, remains under a four-year extension.
