US Army Establishes Permanent Garrison in Poland to Counter Russian Threat
The US Army has established a permanent garrison in Poland, underscoring the country's central role as a hub of NATO support for Ukraine's fight against invading Russian forces. The newly established U.S. Army Garrison Poland has a relatively small footprint in Poznań, being only about the size of a city block, and currently has only two soldiers assigned there. However, there are roughly 200 additional soldiers at the garrison on rotation.
