
Paramount Snaps Up Florence Pugh Drama The Midnight Library for 2027 Start
Paramount Pictures has acquired North American and select international rights to The Midnight Library, an adaptation of Matt Haig’s novel, with Florence Pugh set to star and produce and Garth Davis directing. Studiocanal will distribute in the U.K., France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Benelux, Australia, New Zealand and other partners; Paramount will handle distribution in major markets worldwide. The film is budgeted around $70 million, with a screenplay by Laura Wade and Nick Payne, produced by Blueprint Pictures, and filming is planned to begin in early 2027.
