SC makes history as Darline Graham sworn in as interim senator
Darline Graham, Lindsey Graham’s sister, was sworn in as interim U.S. senator from South Carolina, becoming the Palmetto State’s first female senator and the first sister to hold a seat in the Senate. Appointed by Gov. Henry McMaster after Lindsey Graham’s death, she will serve the remainder of his term through January while a GOP contest unfolds for the seat.
