'Saved by the Bell' and 'General Hospital' actor Gerald Castillo passes away at 90.
Actor Gerald Castillo, best known for playing Mario Lopez's on-screen father Major Slater in two episodes of Saved By The Bell, has passed away at the age of 90. Castillo's impressive career included roles in iconic TV shows such as All In The Family, Dallas, Dynasty, M*A*S*H, The Jeffersons, and Dragnet. He also appeared in films such as Hero At Large and Delta Force 2: The Colombian Connection. Castillo continued working in theaters in Los Angeles and at the Santa Paula Theater in Ventura County while in semi-retirement. He is survived by his grandchildren and great-grandsons.
