IWC Marks 50 Years of Genta’s Ingenieur SL with Two Limited Editions
IWC Schaffhausen has released two limited-edition Ingenieur Automatic watches to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the 1976 Ingenieur SL, designed by Gérald Genta. The new 40mm and 35mm models feature a vertically brushed silver-plated dial inspired by a rare vintage variant, replacing the standard grid pattern. The 40mm version includes a soft-iron inner case for magnetic protection and a 120-hour power reserve, while the 35mm model offers a sapphire caseback and 42-hour reserve. Both are limited to 1,150 pieces and priced between EUR 12,800 and EUR 14,700.
