Apple’s iOS 27 beta changes how you summon Notification Center by prioritizing Siri AI: with Siri AI enabled, swiping from the center of the top edge now invokes Siri, while Notification Center opens from the top-left corner; iPadOS 27 shows similar tweaks. The change, visible in developer and public betas ahead of a fall release, means users must relearn the gestures and there’s currently no option to disable the top-center Siri invocation.
