Kate Mansi Bids Farewell to Kristina on General Hospital, Door Remains Open
Kate Mansi is exiting General Hospital after a three-year run as Kristina Corinthos-Davis, a decision she calls “very difficult” to accommodate travel for her husband’s overseas work and to pursue new projects. Her final GH episode was filmed in April and will air through June, with Kristina set to receive big news on May 26. The exit will cut short the Ethan–Kristina storyline, but showrunner Frank Valentini says the door is always open for her return. Mansi, a Daytime Emmy winner who previously starred on Days of Our Lives and even directed GH episodes, joined GH in 2023 to succeed Lexi Ainsworth and has helped shape Kristina’s arc before stepping away.
