Footage shows suspect buying over $2,000 in fireworks before Michigan synagogue attack
Newly obtained surveillance shows 41-year-old Ayman Mohamad Ghazali buying more than $2,000 in fireworks at Phantom Fireworks in Livonia, Mich., two days before he rammed a truck into Temple Israel in West Bloomfield. The attacker exchanged gunfire with security, died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, and investigators found large quantities of fireworks and gasoline in the truck; Ghazali had no known prior criminal history or FBI investigation, and the case remains under investigation.
