Hoult Snags Lockhart for HBO's Harry Potter Season 2
Nicholas Hoult will play Gilderoy Lockhart, the vanity‑prone wizard, in HBO's Harry Potter Season 2. The series is greenlit for a second season, which begins filming this fall ahead of the Christmas premiere of Season 1 on HBO/HBO Max. The ensemble also includes Dominic McLaughlin as Harry Potter, with returning cast members Nick Frost, John Lithgow, Paapa Essiedu and Janet McTeer, and showrunner coordination by Gardiner with Jon Brown elevated to co-showrunner.
