Murakami's late homer lifts Sox to Detroit sweep

Munetaka Murakami then delivered a seventh-inning two-run blast and Miguel Vargas added an insurance run in the ninth as Chicago held on for a 7-5 win, completing a three-game sweep at Comerica Park—their first in Detroit since 2022 and with their AL Central lead extending to 5.5 games (magic number down to 34).
