Good Samaritan Saves Paddleboarder After 10-Foot Alligator Attack in Florida
A Florida paddleboarder on the Silver River was attacked by a 10-foot alligator, losing her arm and leaving bones poking out; a nearby good Samaritan on a boat scared the gator away and tied off the wound with a rope until first responders arrived. She was hospitalized and later discharged to return home, and the river was briefly closed for the alligator’s removal before reopening; the incident comes after other recent Florida alligator attacks.
