AI Anthology 'Gods Don't Give Gifts' Delays Release to Target Oscar Campaign
The AI-generated anthology 'Gods Don't Give Gifts' has postponed its U.S. theatrical release from October 30 to December 4 to align with the Academy Awards campaign season. Produced by Fable and created by YouTuber Gossip Goblin, the film aims to become the first AI-generated project to secure a nomination for Best Animated Feature. The release strategy includes advanced screenings for Academy voters and a Los Angeles billboard campaign, testing the Academy's evolving stance on AI-generated content.
