OpenAI added a mobile long-press gesture to set a prompt's 'intelligence' level (Instant, Thinking, Extended) for just that message, and rolled out a web-based table-of-contents navigator to jump through long chats (5+ responses). It also updated GPT-5.5 Instant to read more naturally, be less emoji-heavy, and improve factuality and multilingual performance.
