Saturday Night Live has added two new cast members—Wisconsin-born comedian Grace Reiter and Nigerian American filmmaker/comedian Saidah Belo-Osagie—completing the Season 52 ensemble as the show returns Sept. 26 with host Jalen Brunson and returning players; both performers auditioned across LA, New York and Chicago ahead of the Season 52 rollout.
Deadline reports Saturday Night Live has added Saidah Belo-Osagie and Grace Reiter as featured players for Season 52, part of a push to address last season’s lack of Black female cast members after Ego Nwodim’s 2025 exit and the departures of Chloe Fineman and Martin Herlihy. Belo-Osagie is a Queens-based creator behind Afrobeats Futura and Saidah Gets Closure; Reiter rose on TikTok’s Stapleview and has credits including Netflix’s upcoming Minimum Wage and HBO’s The Chair Company. SNL’s Season 52 premieres Sept. 26 with host Jalen Brunson and musical guest KATSEYE, with additional host-musical lineups expected.
