RUF Unveils Ehra: A 650bhp Widebody Grand Tourer with 911 Roots
RUF has revealed the Ehra, a new all-wheel-drive widebody grand tourer, at Monterey Car Week. The car features a 3.6-liter twin-turbo flat-six engine producing 650bhp and 664lb ft of torque, paired with a seven-speed manual gearbox. Built on a carbon-fiber monocoque chassis, the Ehra weighs approximately 1,325kg and is designed for high-speed touring rather than track-only performance. It features a subtle carbon-fiber rear spoiler that deploys automatically at speed, widebody fenders, and a retro-modern interior with brown leather and titanium accents. The vehicle is named after the Ehra-Lessien proving ground where the original CTR Yellowbird set a speed record. No pricing or production numbers have been announced, but it is expected to be a limited, high-value release.
