"SpaceX Prepares for Starship Tests, Awaits Regulatory Approval"
SpaceX has filed a notice with the Coast Guard for ground tests of its Starship rocket scheduled for tomorrow at its facility in Boca Chica, Texas. The tests could involve loading the rocket with propellant, conducting a wet dress rehearsal, and performing a static fire to gather data and ensure there are no issues before a launch attempt. The test activities will be "non-flight" and come after multiple system level upgrades to Starship following a failed test launch in April. The rocket's launch date is currently awaiting approval from the Fish and Wildlife Service.
