Koenigsegg unveils the CCGT1, a road-legal megacar built on the CC850 to honor the CCGT GT1 project. It delivers 1,280 hp (1,600 hp on E85), up to 800 kg of downforce at 250 km/h, and uses Koenigsegg’s Light Speed Transmission with a new Koenigsegg Sequential Shift; an optional Engage Shift System manual remains available. A factory-designed track package adds full race hardware for circuit performance, and Ghost Fibre white carbon fibre debuts. Only 70 units will be produced, making the CCGT1 a limited, track-focused homage to a historic era.

Rare Koenigsegg and Nissan Race Cars Set to Command Millions at Auction

The only Koenigsegg racing car ever built, the CCGT, is up for sale at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Originally intended for GT1 racing, the car was never able to compete due to a regulation change. It has been owned by a private individual who has only used it for occasional displays and demonstration runs. The car is estimated to sell for $3.25 million to $4.36 million and would be eligible to race in the Masters Historic Racing series.
