Project Motor Racing Renames Japanese GT500 DLC as Japanese Prototypes
Project Motor Racing has reintroduced its previously delisted Japanese GT500 DLC under the new name Japanese Prototypes DLC, removing GT500/JGTC suffixes from car names (now JP1/JP2) while keeping the licensed content and Takimiya Circuit intact. The change follows a licensing dispute and a maintenance period; the DLC is now available on PlayStation and Xbox, with Steam coming soon, and a general game update across platforms adds features like Multi-Draw Indirect, a relative timings leaderboard, throttle-response tweaks, and broader AI/UI improvements across multiple classes and vehicles.
