NYC Parking Garage Shooting: Charges Dropped Against Worker Who Shot Suspected Thief.
A parking garage attendant in Manhattan, Moussa Diarra, wrestled a gun away from a suspected thief, Charles Rhodie, and shot him in the chest after being shot in the stomach and grazed in the head. Both men were charged with attempted murder, assault, and criminal possession of a weapon, but prosecutors are not pursuing the case against Diarra pending further investigation. Diarra's lawyer praised him as a victim and hero, and the DA's office is still determining what charges to pursue against Rhodie.
