India has condemned the blocking of its High Commissioner and Consul General from entering a gurdwara in Scotland, calling it "disgraceful" and reporting the incident to the UK government and police. A viral video shows a man preventing the Indian High Commissioner from entering the gurdwara, while two others unsuccessfully attempt to open his car door. The incident occurs amidst a diplomatic dispute between India and Canada, sparked by Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau's accusations against "Indian government agents" in the killing of a Khalistani terrorist. The Indian High Commission stated that "extremist elements" disrupted the planned interaction at the gurdwara and one of them tried to forcefully open the High Commissioner's car door.
