
H-E-B Pulls 35+ Jalapeño-Linked Items Over Salmonella Outbreak
H-E-B is voluntarily recalling more than 35 products containing jalapeños after a multistate Salmonella outbreak linked to jalapeños from Sinaloa, Mexico. The recall covers several Pico de Gallo varieties, Jalapeño Popper Stuffed Mushrooms, diced jalapeños, NatureBest pico de gallo, and many prepared foods (guacamole, ceviche, shrimp cocktails, deli items, cheese spreads, Mexican street corn, snack trays). Salata Dressings’ Jalapeño Avocado Dressing is also recalled. FDA reports no illnesses to date. Items were distributed to Texas and Louisiana between July 3 and August 5, 2026; a full list is on H-E-B’s site.
