
Patriots upgrade RB depth by trading for Corey Kiner, releasing Hassan Haskins
The New England Patriots acquired running back Corey Kiner from the Arizona Cardinals for a 2028 seventh-round draft pick and released Hassan Haskins. Kiner, who has NFL experience including four games with Arizona after time with San Francisco and Minnesota, provides depth at running back for New England, while Haskins, a former fourth-round pick, had been with the Patriots since August 2026 and has career totals of 76 rushing yards, 2 rushing TDs, 199 receiving yards and a kickoff return total in 44 games.
