iPhone head-tracking lets you control the screen with facial movements
Apple’s lesser-known Head Tracking accessibility feature lets users control an iPhone using head and facial movements (mouth opening, eyebrow raises, smiles, tongue protrusion) with an on-screen pointer and a dwell timer. By gazing steadily at a screen item, a chosen action is performed, enabling hands-free use—valuable for users with limited mobility. It requires iOS 26 or later and is set up via Settings > Accessibility > Head Tracking.
