No Man's Sky's Swarm update introduces a universe-threatening Hive of Glass and large-scale battles with hundreds of drone ships. The event is described as an Expedition and uses a Splatoon-like personality test to split players into three factions, who must cooperate to push back the invaders. Rewards include new armor, a jetpack, and a rifle, with the most successful faction memorialized in the Space Anomaly.
