Starz Bets on S.W.A.T. Exiles Spin-Off Starring Hondo to Fall Premiere
Starz has ordered S.W.A.T. Exiles, a 10-episode spin-off of CBS’s S.W.A.T., which will debut September 25, 2026. Shemar Moore returns as Daniel 'Hondo' Harrelson, leading a new, untested recruits’ unit after a high-profile mission goes sideways. Starz will be the first U.S. home for the series, with talks of a Netflix window later; the ensemble includes Ronen Rubinstein, Freddy Miyares, Lucy Barrett, Zyra Gorecki, and Adain Bradley, with guest stars like Selma Blair and Jerry O’Connell. Jason Ning serves as showrunner, with Kevin Tancharoen directing the pilot and Neal H. Moritz among executive producers.
