Allina Health Doctors and Hospice Nurses Stage Multi-Day Strikes Over Contracts
About 150 doctors at Allina Health’s Mercy and Unity Hospitals in Fridley and Coon Rapids began a four-day unfair labor practice strike as they push for a new contract, while 60 Allina hospice nurses started a seven-day strike. Allina says patient care will not be disrupted and negotiations will continue at the bargaining table.
