Bangkok Host Bar Shaves 18-Year-Old Bald Over 60,000 Baht Debt
An 18-year-old woman in Bangkok had her head shaved by a host bar manager after failing to pay a 60,000 baht bill for over 200 drinks. The incident, which began after she used a falsified ID to enter the venue, has led to a police complaint alleging coercion and assault. While the bar claims the mother approved a hair-for-debt deal, the victim and her family argue the shaving was forced and excessive. The case highlights risks of social media-driven nightlife and underage drinking.
