Xbox Imposes Monthly Cloud-Gaming Hour Caps Across Game Pass Tiers
Xbox will cap monthly cloud gaming hours per Game Pass tier starting in November: Ultimate 15 hours, Premium 10 hours, Essential 5 hours; once hours are used, players can buy more with pricing to be announced; cloud play without a Game Pass subscription will also be offered à la carte. Microsoft says the caps are due to rising cloud costs and to keep the service reliable, with about 4% of subscribers affected as part of broader Xbox changes.
