UAW Members Injured in Hit-and-Run at GM Plant
Five United Auto Workers (UAW) picketers were hit by a car outside the General Motors Flint Processing Center in Swartz Creek, Michigan. The UAW members were peacefully assembled when a contracted housekeeping crew from Malace allegedly drove through the picket line. The injured picketers are recovering, while GM has banned the housekeeping contractor involved in the incident. Police are searching for the suspect vehicle, and GM has reinforced safety measures for employees and contractors at facilities affected by the UAW strike.
